I
was going to do the whole zodiac but got no further than Taurus.
My Aries (the Ram) turned out to be political, about the
inevitability of black Africa’s revenge against the whites.
We’ve seen blood-letting of other kinds: the Biafran exodus was
in 1967, so it was not a case that, echoing Iago:
... ram [would] tup with the white ewe;
the marriage yield a bloody wife.
I
could have been closer—black against black conflicts have marred
Africa mostly. Tup:
copulate with a ewe. See Othello
