Note on Pelicans, Volcanoes

We can’t dream what we haven’t known or imagined.  From small experience, say of fruit, we might think of the wider world of trees.  From our imaginings our dreams are refreshed.  The cycle is completed when dreaming enlarges our waking awareness.  Not a process I’m much aware of, consciously at least.
