Note on She prays that God is still in pain

I got the idea from a prose piece, Happiness, by Ian Robinson, found in the booklet 26½ Things by Ian and his friend Ray Seaford.  I’m almost sure one can’t get away with the style I’ve used here.  I like it, but with guilty reservations.  Brian Cole thinks it’s ‘an engaging sentimentality’ but not finally convincing.  Lise shed a tear when she read it.  Undine sort of agreed with Brian.  It’s another for the Anniversary collection, if I ever get together such a group.  I don’t feel this way too often but then I don’t always have to be true to the strictest criteria.
